The inclusion of Women in Tech

Border Sessions is an international technology festival in The Hague that offers a stage to authors, engineers, scientists, designers and artists. Border Sessions invites you to co-create the upcoming 7th edition. 20+ labs, a conference with 40+ sessions, a hackathon, a dinner and much more…

Border Sessions hosts the Diversity in Tech Lab at The Hague Tech. Technology is increasingly pervasive in our lives. The robots are coming. Artificial Intelligence will be entwined with our daily behaviour. While the gender gap is slowly shrinking, technology is heavily dominated by gender, race and background and the mainstream media focuses on key male players. In order to be representative of the people we’re impacting, we need a diverse views of people, people who will build our robots, to enter technology and engineering.

This Diversity in Tech Lab strives to make exclusion visible, to exchange knowledge and start a dialogue on diversity. Want to be in our journey to accelerate change? Do you think we need a diverse group of people to enter technology, business and engineering environments where gender-neutrality, collaboration, equality and a balanced future are key? Join us in a narrative, a story, a movement. Inaction is not an option.
