The Hague's Tech and the Green Business Club join forces during Earth Hour

This year Earth Hour will be on the 24th of March. This global initiative of WWF aims to create more awareness about the future of our planet. Millions of people, cities, companies and organisations around the world will turn off their lights for one hour at 20:30.

The Beatrixkwartier will also join this initiative. The following companies have already agreed to turn off their lights: MN, PostNL, The Hague Tech, CBRE, WTC, SDU, RVO, Haagse Poort, NN, CAK. If you also want to participate then please reply to this email for more information.

To celebrate and share ideas about the future of our planet the Green Business Club and The Hague Tech have joined forces to organise an event. We welcome you and your colleagues at 20.00 at The Hague Tech to take part in the most exhilarating scavenger hunt (in the dark of course), before you enter the best Earth Hour ‘Glow in the Dark’ party in town.

For this event you have to sign up. Please send an email to beatrixkwart[email protected] to let us know you come and with how many. The dress code is Glow in the Dark!

Three Wolves, A Monkey, and a Dung Beetle Walk into a Hackathon

Hackathons are an incredible medium for creating new ideas, new friends, and finding out about yourself. As a semi non-technical person (i.e. I don’t code, at least not yet) I’ve always looked at hackathons with a sense of awe, as an unapproachable event that I always wanted to participate in. Well, I finally got my chance and it was an absolute blast!
What was the hackathon all about?
